I'm a Sicilian son-of-a-signmaker. I've been making bags, furniture and clothes for friends & family all my life. Now I work for you. Manufacturing is in California, mostly custom or limited-edition work right out of my San Francisco studio. I shop around for small-run, unusual fabrics. My product is always made the way I want it – to last and to enjoy.

I grew up in San Pedro, started helping make signs when I was 12. My dad, Vince, taught me to run a business by providing good products and dealing honourably with customers. After high school, I went to Long Beach to become a punk-rock roadie and all-around artist type. Went to LA Trade Tech. Then my dad died and our family moved to Sacramento, where I made patterns for clothes and learned upholstery. I wound up in San Francisco doing furniture. Then bags. For myself, then friends wanted some, then . . .

I have a bag and home furnishings business, my studio's in San Francisco. This shop shows today's products – collections all ready-to-ship, studio products made to order. I also do custom work, so write me Vincie@OriginalVincie.com if you have a deep desire.
